Welcome to the West coast Sportfishing Charters!
We can offer you a memorable fishingexperiance or a great tour through the beautiful Swedish westcoast archipelago, witch is very rich in species.
The sportfishing tours are avalible all year . The tours are conducted with an experienced guide and a very well equipped Örnvik 630 walkaround boat and a suzuki 175 hp outboard engine.

You will be fishing on locations that have been selected for the day, based on the circumstances of wind, tide, currents etc. This to provide the best possible fishing opportunities as well as an enjoyable boat cruise.

The tour normally starts in the morning or afternoon and you can expect to get about 5-8 hours of fishing. Sometime during the day there will be a break for food and rest on a nearby island to gain strength for more fishing, although this can be done depending on how far out from the coast we are fishing for the day and what type of fishing you will chose.

Fishing equipment and lifejackets are all included, however if you wish you may bring your own gear. We can also provide food, snacks, beverages etc. if desired. In April we fish for sea trout and atlantics salmon. The sea trout is at this time moving out from the rivers & streams in search for food and this provides some really good fishing opportunities.

In May & June we fish for sea trout, atlantics salmon and garfish. The garfish is at this time approaching more shallow waters for the “season mating” and is therefore also possible to fish from land or boat. The garfish offers lots of fun and excitement to catch and can offer some really good fights, I therefore strongly recommend fishing for these explosive green shimmering silver arrows!

In July, August and September in addition to the seatrout and Atlantic salmon we also go for mackerel, codfish, coalfish etc.
This is conducted as deep sea fishing further out from the coast, and has shown to be much appreciated in the past.

We can also offer a guided boat tour through the archipelago and for this tour the boat can carry up to 6 passengers. This tour last for about 2 hours or 3 - depending on if you choose to include a visit to the island of Åstol.

We depart from Rörtången and go through some bird protection areas and nature reserves, pass under high bridges and trough narrow passages toward the well known island of marstrand. We here cruise at a slow pace to get a chance to admire the magnificent fort and beautiful surroundings around this island.

We then continue offshore to the island of Åstol, here we can stop for a visit at the famous smokehouse where its possible to purchase smoked fish & seafood, or why not try the restaurant and have a seafood plate with beer or wine?

The tour then continues northeast through the wonderful archipelago were there is a good chance to see some deer on the nearby islands or even some curious seals near the boat.
Finally, we arrive back in Rörtången and we hope that this experience of our nature and surroundings will be a memorable one.

These guided tours are available from June 1st. Until August 31st. All tours can be cancelled on short notice due to weather conditions.
